SO WHAT MAKES US HAPPY? SOME SAY HUGS, SPORTS FIENDS WILL GRAB A QUICK EXERCISE HIGH WITH A LUNCH TIME POWER-BOX-PILATES-SPIN AND OF COURSE THERE IS CHOCOLATE! 

 
Well at OAK we have taken a happy test and noted down some of the things that tickle the corners of our lips to make us smile. Embracing the spirit of sharing we have listed these magical moments with a mission to spread some happy this Spring (oh yes it is!).  Keep this in mind and if even one of our happies gives you a glorious glow inside then care and share and spread the happiness to a friend. 


1. Unexpected Sunshine!  

Taking a moment to sit in a surprise sunburst and soak  up the warmth can often add a moment of cheer in your day.  A simply perfect way to live in and enjoy the moment.


2. Getting Together With Close Friends  

It is all about laughing, crying and not having to filter what you say. Regardless of having a glass of wine, it is immediate stress relief! 


3. 10 mins of yoga 

Connecting your mind and body feels like an accomplishment in itself.  I suppose whether you do this daily weekly or whenever a friend drags you to a class, this also comes under setting achievable goals and being kind to yourself.


4.  Saturday Epiphany 

There is a blissful moment of realisation when you realise you have nothing planned for Sunday! A whole day to do nothing or anything or everything or let someone else decide... the options are exciting and endless!

5. Re-decorating

Sometimes it is just about re-arranging furniture, updating photoframes or changing the colour of a wall (we have recently gone gold in the OAK studios!) .  Renewing your interiors makes your space exciting and creates a sense of pride.  What can we say, we are junkies of style and aesthetics! 


6. Writing a good list

Incase you hadn't noticed! A very satisfying way to express and organise a multitude of thoughts and filter them out of your bustling & busy brain.  They no longer clutter your mind and can then be actioned, shared or simply just kept safe!  Sometimes it is the simple ways of de-stressing that can help give back a feeling of control & calm & happiness. 
 

 

Just noting down these wonderful simplicities of life has made us happy, we hope reading them has made you smile too!
